Job summary

Capital One in Walnut Creek is seeking a part-time Café Ambassador to be the face of our digital-banking café. You’ll engage guests in a high-energy, modern space, guiding them through mobile banking, apps, and self-service tools while avoiding traditional sales quotas and acting as a friendly brand representative.

You’ll help host local events, support customers with complex questions, and foster an inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of banking experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Proficient in G-Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests in a high-energy café environment.
• Promote Capital One products through conversation, not sales quotas.
• Guide customers through digital tools and troubleshooting.
• Host local events to promote financial health.
• Advocate for customers and resolve issues per compliance.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment.
• Move throughout the Café and stay engaged with the community.
