Butler Rehab and Health Care Center in Butler, MO is seeking a Dietary / Culinary Manager to lead our food service team and ensure residents receive nutritious meals. You will manage daily kitchen operations, hire and train staff, and maintain budgets while upholding safety standards.

The role requires CDM/ANFP certification, 2+ years of healthcare foodservice management, and strong leadership and organizational skills to support a resident-centered dietary program.

Our facility is seeking an experienced and organized Dietary / Culinary Manager to lead our food service department. The Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting residents’ nutritional needs.

Dietary Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dietary and food service operations.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise dietary staff.
• Create and maintain staff schedules.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and adjust services accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and dietary regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and place food/supply orders.
• Develop and manage department budget.
• Plan and implement resident-centered dietary programs.
• Oversee food storage, preparation, and sanitation protocols.

Dietary Manager Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification by the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
• Successful completion of a certified Dietary Manager exam.
• Minimum 2 years of foodservice management experience, preferably in long-term care or healthcare settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
