Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Blue Hill is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Culinary Service Department in our skilled rehab and nursing community. You will create healthy, tasty meals and oversee dining room operations to delight residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a preference for Dietary Manager Certification. Strong computer skills and staff scheduling are key to success in this on-site role.

• TB test and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room.

• Controls Dietary Department expenses and ensures compliance with special diets.
• Schedules and manages the Dietary staff.

The Certified Dietary Manager directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room. They are responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service, control of Dietary Department expenses, and for compliance with special diets offered by the community, as well as scheduling and management of the Dietary staff.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Dietary Manager Certification preferred
• Computer skills include Word, Excel, Outlook, and order processing.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, cheerfully and with enthusiasm.
• Must meet employment requirements, including TB, criminal background check.
