Job summary

Elevate Nutritional Harmony in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager with ServSafe Manager certification to lead the Dietary Department in a skilled nursing setting.

You will plan, organize, and direct operations, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise staff, and implement cost controls while coordinating diet therapy to meet resident needs, collaborating with other departments to enhance care.

Qualifications

• Serv Safe Manager Certificate required.
• CDM certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure compliance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Oversee and manage the dietary staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
• Implement and maintain cost control measures within the department.
• Coordinate diet therapy and ensure that dietary services are provided according to the individual needs of residents.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall quality of resident care.
