Job summary

Adept Nursing and Rehab of Gretna is hiring a Dietary Manager to lead the Culinary Service Department in our skilled nursing community. You will oversee meal quality, service during meals, and staffing to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dietary Manager Certification preferred.
• Computer skills include Word, Excel, Outlook, and order processing.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, cheerfully and with enthusiasm.
• Must meet employment requirements, including TB, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room.
• Responsible for the quality of meals served and service delivery during meals.
• Controls Dietary Department expenses and ensures compliance with special diets.
• Schedules and manages the Dietary staff.

The Certified Dietary Manager directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room. They are responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service, control of Dietary Department expenses, and for compliance with special diets offered by the community, as well as scheduling and management of the Dietary staff.

• Dietary Manager Certification preferred
