Forest Glen is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Dietary Manager to lead our Dietary Department. If you're passionate about providing nutritious, high-quality meals while creating a positive dining experience for our residents, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
As the Dietary Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while leading a dedicated team committed to exceptional resident care.
Direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
Plan, organize, and supervise meal preparation and food service.
Ensure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the Registered Dietitian to meet residents' nutritional needs and physician diet orders.
Manage food purchasing, inventory, and department budget.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop dietary staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen and dining environment.
Promote outstanding customer service for residents, families, and staff.
Previous experience in dietary management, healthcare, or long-term care preferred.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and long-term care regulations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
