Forest Glen Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Springfield, Ohio is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to lead our Dietary Department and ensure high-quality meals and dining experiences for residents.

You will oversee daily operations, plan meals, manage budgets, and work with the Registered Dietitian to meet nutritional needs while complying with regulations. This role emphasizes strong leadership, teamwork, and a compassionate approach to senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary management, healthcare, or long-term care preferred.
• CDM certification preferred or willingness to obtain if required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and long-term care regulations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Passion for serving seniors with dignity, compassion, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Plan, organize, and supervise meal preparation and food service.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Registered Dietitian to meet residents' nutritional needs and physician diet orders.
• Manage food purchasing, inventory, and department budget.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop dietary staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen and dining environment.
• Promote outstanding customer service for residents, families, and staff.
