Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to assist in meal preparation and dining services for residents. You will follow dietary guidelines, ensure proper temperatures, and support the Food Service/Dietary Manager with staffing and food service operations.

Qualified candidates have a year of institutional food service experience and the ability to work in a team, maintain safety standards, and support resident nutrition needs.

Qualifications

• Tidying work area and following safety guidelines.
• Adhere to institution policies during food preparation.
• Maintain proper temperatures and portioning of meals.
• Attend mandatory trainings and license/certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation, salads and snacks for patients/residents.
• Serve nourishments and record substitutions per guidelines.
• Store leftovers properly and manage inventory to reduce waste.
• Prepare and load trays for delivery to patient rooms.
• Clean dining and kitchen areas and sanitize equipment after use.
• Monitor temperatures and maintain dishwasher and sanitizers.
