Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation invites applications for a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC. This role supports food preparation under the Dietary Manager, ensuring meals meet nutritional needs and adhere to state and federal guidelines for residents.

You will assist with serving, portioning, tray setup, sanitation, and inventory, while following recipes and safety procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and respect for residents’ rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in long term care food production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in the preparation of meals, salads, desserts, snacks or other dishes for patients/residents.
• Serves nourishments in accordance with procedural guidelines.
• Properly stores leftovers/opened food.
• Follows procedures for serving partner meals.
• Maintains dishwashing and kitchen cleanliness.
• Records temperatures and monitors equipment as required.
