PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a healthcare setting. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean kitchen environment.

The role requires following recipes, monitoring dishwashing processes, and contributing to staff training where needed. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to food handling standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temp of the dishwasher.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and keep groceries organized and safe.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Collaborate with Cook and Dietary supervisor.
