Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations in our post-acute care network. You will learn routines, set up meal trays, assist with serving, and help maintain sanitation. You will work under supervision to ensure meals are served promptly and safely.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handler certificate. You will train with the cook and dietary supervisor and collaborate with staff across departments to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to learn food service routine within a short period.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
