Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service in a healthcare setting. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean kitchen environment, reporting to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

The role requires reading procedures, following recipes, and effective communication with managers and staff. A high school diploma and a food handlers' certificate are required; expect frequent standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor dishwasher performance and water temperature.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Carry out trash disposal and grocery storage.
