Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willingness to travel for training provided by US Foods.
• Ability to read and understand technical and online service manuals.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendor and business partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software tablet to document equipment repair and parts used.
• Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
