Job summary

US Foods is seeking a skilled Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet equipment. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with partners to keep the fleet reliable.

Onsite at the maintenance facility with opportunities for growth. Requirements include 3 years of hands-on experience, TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications, and willingness to travel for training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willing to travel and attend training.
• Read and understand technical/service manuals; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and repair diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendors and partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety rules and regulations.
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet maintenance software.
• Mentor other maintenance staff and assume more responsibilities as needed.
