US Foods in Louisiana is seeking a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel fleet equipment at our maintenance facility. The role requires 3 years of hands-on experience and TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications, with travel for training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications
• Willing to travel for training provided by US Foods

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates)
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendor, and plan action with business partners
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules/regulations
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet maintenance software on tablet
• Back up to other maintenance shop personnel
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel
• Other duties as assigned by manager
