Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to ensure safe and reliable fleet operations.

You will diagnose and repair diesel equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors on road calls, all while maintaining accurate repair logs. Applicants should have 3+ years of hands-on experience, TK/Carrier Refrigeration certifications, and the ability to read manuals and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
• Read/write and basic math skills; ability to follow manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendors and plan actions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety rules.
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet maintenance software.
• Mentor other maintenance staff and be willing to take on added responsibilities.
