Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to ensure safe, reliable operations of our diesel fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and related equipment at our Reserve, LA facility.

The role requires hands-on experience, required TK/Carrier certifications, and willingness to travel for training. Benefits start day one with 401K, health coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to travel and attend training.
• Experience with fleet maintenance software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on diesel fleet equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Coordinate with third party vendors and business partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document repairs in the fleet system.
• Mentor other maintenance staff.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
