Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co. is seeking a Technician in El Paso, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient in problem solving and using common shop tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor.
