Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• The ability to solve problems and provide excellent customer service.
• Must comply with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
• Willing to travel within the district and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Doing preventive maintenance services with little supervision and in a timely manner.
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
