Job summary

Penske in El Paso, TX is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s vehicle maintenance processes, use diagnostic tools, and grow with industry-certified training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical vehicle repair certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to use basic tools and solve problems.
• Willingness to pass DOT/OSHA safety requirements and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and diagnostics.
• Conduct basic tire rotation, lubrication and cooling system maintenance.
• Work with a manager to learn new skills through Penske training.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements.
