Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician in El Paso, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a modern fleet, using Penske tools and diagnostics. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and grow through industry-certified training with experienced supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, and some electrical/cooling system work on gas and diesel engines.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Willingness to take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
