Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to use tools safely.
• DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies.
• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via Penske training programs.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
