Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will learn Penske’s maintenance processes, use advanced diagnostics, and grow through our technician training program.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continual skill development with opportunities across locations and shifts. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to comply with DOT/OSHA policies are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety policies including DOT/OSHA requirements.

Aufgaben

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Coordinate with manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
