Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll log work, diagnose issues, replace tires, and service components to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use basic tools and perform diagnostics.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills; safety-conscious and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs and related lubrication/replacement tasks on gas and diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
