Penske is seeking a Technician in Savannah, GA to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability for customers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player; able to work outside and with others.
• Basic computer skills; comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools; perform basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske training and with supervision.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
