Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Valdosta, GA to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with the latest equipment, learn Penske’s maintenance processes, and receive industry-certified training to progress in your career.

As part of a safety-first team, you’ll log diagnostics, rotate tires, and perform lubrication and repairs while collaborating with experienced supervisors. The role offers stable hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn Penske maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure safety and road readiness.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, diagnose and complete repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching with a supervisor.
• Assist with various projects as assigned by the supervisor.
