Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.
• Willingness to learn and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication, replace or rotate tires, and conduct some electrical/cooling system work.
• Collaborate with supervisor to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
