Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet at our Duluth, GA location. You will work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, gaining hands-on training and access to Penske’s industry-leading tools and technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and Penske policies familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure safety of vehicles for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs (tires, lubrication, some electrical and cooling systems).
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Collaborate with your supervisor on tasks and projects.
