Qualifications
- 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred
- Specialized training in engines, transmissions and differentials; ASE/608/609 certs preferred
- Proficient with diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT/safety requirements
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision
- Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials and related components
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Use Penske tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
- Learn and apply Penske training to advance skills
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
