Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs on various trucks and trailers. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role may require travel to customer sites and collaboration with service writers to estimate repairs. ASE certifications are preferred and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required, with 3 years' related field experience (or 5 years).
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Must possess and operate a range of hand and diesel tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
• Travel to customer locations as needed and document work in RO.
