Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking systems, HVAC, suspension, and powertrain.

Under supervision, you will perform preventative maintenance and on-road service to keep our fleet reliable and safe. Qualifications include diagnosing multi-system issues, 3–5 years in a technician role or recent graduation from automotive school, ASE T1-T8 a plus, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3–5 years of technician experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment or recent graduation from an accredited automotive program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis, refuse bodies, braking, steering, HVAC, and powertrain systems.
• Provide on-road and on-site service as needed to minimize downtime.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and follow safety and training protocols.
