Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulics, and air/brake systems. You will diagnose and repair various vehicle components and provide on-road support as needed.

The role requires 3-5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from an automotive program, ASE certifications being a plus, and a valid driver's license. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• 3-5 years of technician experience in gasoline and diesel equipment, or graduating from a recognized automotive program within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis, bodies, and control systems.
• Repair light engine, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC and braking systems.
• Provide on-road service when needed to return equipment to operation safely and efficiently.
