Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking systems, and HVAC. Under supervision, you will diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance in our on-site fleet.

You will gain exposure to advanced vehicle technologies, receive on-the-job training, and contribute to reliable route servicing. A CDL is a plus, ASE experience is preferred, and a strong safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Experience or training in maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, braking, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Provide safe road service and basic tire work as needed.
• Maintain on-site and in-field service quality and safety.
