Job summary
Republic Services seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, and control systems. The role covers on-site and on-road service with emphasis on diagnostic skill and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications
- Diagnose multi-system issues with technical accuracy.
- Understand work order labor time standards and estimation.
- Experience with gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and performs preventive/repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
- Chassis component repair and maintenance.
- Refuse bodies and control, hydraulic and electrical systems; including air/hydraulic braking.
- Light engine repair and maintenance.
- Suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
- Heating and air conditioning.
- Performs line maintenance welding and fabrication.
- Provides road service when needed to ensure safe operation.
- Identifies malfunction sources using electronic tools.
