Penske is seeking a Technician II in Charlottesville, VA to maintain and repair a diverse fleet. You will work independently on major and minor repairs, perform road tests, and mentor newer technicians while learning Penske’s maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Ase Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers on the road.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Log repairs and diagnostics using Penske tools.
• Complete Penske technician training and adapt to new equipment.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
