Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
  • Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Use Penske tools/tech to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
  • Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
  • Handle additional tasks assigned by supervisor.
