Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician in Chester, VA. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, with opportunities to work on engines, transmissions, and more.

You’ll be trusted to work independently while mentoring newer technicians and expanding your skills through Penske’s training programs. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability. Competitive pay and shift premiums reflect experience, with benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred.
• ASE 608/609 certifications and OEM training courses preferred.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies and Penske guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
