Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II to maintain and repair a diverse fleet, performing routine maintenance and complex diagnostics. You will work independently, mentor newer technicians, and grow your skills with cutting-edge Penske technologies.

Your role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service as you ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and collaborate with a skilled team across multiple OEM platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components and ASE 608/609 preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions and differentials.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisor.
