Penske is hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician II in Dayton, OH. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, diagnose issues, and log work with Penske’s diagnostic tools. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training to advance your career.

You will work independently, mentor others, and participate in Penske's Technician Certification Program while ensuring high standards of quality and reliability for our customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical vehicle maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials and OEM certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Perform preventive maintenance services with minimal supervision
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions and related components
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs including basic diagnostics
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor
