Penske is seeking a Technician in Dayton to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and gain hands-on coaching from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills through technician training and hands‑on coaching.
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
