Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II to maintain and repair vehicles, perform road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. You’ll mentor newer technicians while growing your skills under experienced peers and management, with strong emphasis on safety, training, and a clean shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials); ASE Certification and 608/609 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions and differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
