Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Moberly, MO is seeking a qualified Technician to help keep our fleet safe and on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of vehicles, using Penske’s tools and technologies.

Working with experienced supervisors, you’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and gain access to industry‑leading training and certifications. This role offers steady work, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotations and lubrication, on gas and diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills via Penske’s training and coaching.
• Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
