Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player and able to work outdoors.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance required.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screen.
• Willingness to travel within nearby geography for training.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske\'s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance—like replacing or rotating tires—and lubrication and replacement on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske\'s technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
