Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Technician in Moberly, MO. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and keeping fleets safe and on the road through hands-on work with Penske’s tools and diverse equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; assist with electrical and cooling system maintenance.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
