Penske Truck Leasing in Frederick, MD is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll help keep vehicles safe and on the road while building a stable career.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; able to operate tools safely.
• Willingness to learn Penske maintenance processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures vehicle safety for customers.
• Uses Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Performs preventative maintenance and tire-related tasks on gas and diesel engines.
• Learns new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
