Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s vehicle maintenance processes and participate in hands-on coaching with experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to solve problems using common tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and lubrication, and conduct basic electrical/cooling system maintenance
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
