Job summary

GFL Industries in Morristown, TN seeks a Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company trucks and equipment. The role offers a starting pay of $25-$31 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and a 2pm–12am shift.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections and repairs on diesel refuse trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles operate safely and reliably in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely.

Pay

Starting Pay: $25-$31/hr. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift

Starting Shift: 2pm-12am M-F. OT after 40hrs worked!
