Job summary

GFL Environmental in Mosinee, WI seeks a diesel truck technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company-owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment to keep them running safely.

Starting pay is $27 to $34 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. Shifts are 11am–8pm, Monday to Friday. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and 401K after 6 months. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely.

Pay & Hours

Starting Pay: $27 to $34 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 11am-8pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
