Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a heavy‑duty diesel technician to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company trucks and equipment. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $32 per hour, with higher wages based on experience, certifications and skill level; ASE testing is paid for by the company.

Shift is 10am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. Benefits include 15 days PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits after 60 days, and a 401(k) after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel refuse trucks.
• Willingness to obtain ASE certifications; employer pays for testing.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .50 bump per T Series ASE.Shift: 10am-8pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
