Job summary

GFL Industries in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company trucks and equipment, ensuring the fleet can operate safely on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension and PTO, and performing preventative maintenance to keep Refuse Trucks ready for work.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $27-$35/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 5am-3pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .50 bump per T Series ASE.
