Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in the United States is seeking a diesel truck technician to perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.

The role covers repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components, diagnosing mechanical issues to keep refuse trucks operating safely and reliably, and performing preventative maintenance to keep fleet vehicles ready for daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Job description

Starting Pay: $27 to $33 per hour. More pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

We pay for ASE testing! Once you get your certs is .25 bump per T Series ASE.

Shift: 5am-3pm M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.
